Sick of feeling jealous of those who had experiences that I longed for as a child. I seamlessly blend hyper fixations of childhood experiences I was starved for with my thirst for combining unconventional materials. Through passionate disquisition, I have come to question the anxieties and emotional maturity that me and my fellow peers exude. Were we truly mature for our ages? or simply a link in the chain of generational trauma? Adults continuously stuck in a loop. Pushing their children to have the same unique perception of feelings and thoughts of surrounding people. More than breaking the cycle of generational trauma; I find myself putting a stop to the chameleon like behavior I embodied to placate the figures that have towered over me. Creating complex concepts that layer characters and materials with unhinged passion until it cannot be contained on the two-dimensional plane. Breaking the traditional rules to bring both the 2D and 3D planes together to forcefully take over any physical space. To put it simply, I have begun a path of reclamation!
